This study systematically reviews sustainable supply chain performance in the palm oil sector using the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework encompassing economic, environmental, and social dimensions. Based on a qualitative synthesis of 62 peer-reviewed articles, the study identifies key sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) practices, including green procurement, supplier selection, eco-design, certification systems, and stakeholder engagement. The findings reveal that SSCM practices significantly enhance economic efficiency through cost optimization and value-chain integration, improve environmental performance via emissions reduction and resource efficiency, and contribute to social sustainability through corporate social responsibility and smallholder inclusion. However, persistent challenges remain, particularly in governance fragmentation, unequal benefit distribution, and weak enforcement of sustainability standards. The study highlights the importance of integrating all three TBL dimensions to achieve holistic supply chain sustainability in the palm oil industry. This review provides a comprehensive framework for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to strengthen sustainable palm oil supply chain strategies.
